Saturday Kathryn ,with her grandbabies, and Sherry Coss ran in the "Race For The Cure" at Maryland
Farms.
The "Katcando Team" raised $748.00 and had a supporting team of 13, of which I am proud to say, I was
a member.

New Alzheimer’s Service Available at Martin Center
Care Consultation is a grouping of services to assist the person with Alzheimer’s disease and
related dementias and/or their care partners in planning for and dealing with all aspects of the illness experience. Components
of Care Consultation include: assessment of needs, assistance with planning and problem solving, the development of a verbal
or written action plan, and provision of support. Aspects of Care Consultation include: providing information and making appropriate
referrals, supportive listening, and follow-up.
In Middle Tennessee, the Mid South Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is providing this new service by taking
care consultation into the field and scheduling appointments during the fourth Friday of each month between 8:30 – 11:30am
at the Martin Center in Brentwood. Please call for an appointment time at 376-0102.
